2020 FUND-A-NEED
South County Cats has some really BIG NEWS
to share! A friend and long-time supporter generously and unexpectedly
remembered South County Cats in her will! Her gift made possible the
desperate need and goal for us to secure a space to offer high-quality,
high-volume (HQHV), low-cost spay/neuter for cats!
Located in
south King county, South County Cats’ volunteers cleaned, painted and
prepped the new space, and also donated necessary startup items. In
collaboration with Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project (FCSNP), 80 kittens and cats have
already been spayed or neutered in the temporary clinic setup.
We are
ready to take the next step towards outfitting our space as a fully
functional HQHV spay/neuter clinic. Will you make a contribution towards
much needed equipment for this new clinic? The list includes:
- Bair Hugger Devices to Keep Kittens Warm After Surgery
- Anesthesia Machine
- Oxygen Concentrator
Total cost for these items is projected to exceed $10,000.
More really BIG NEWS to share! A generous South County Cats’ supporter has made a very generous $1,000 donation. She
is challenging other South County Cats’ supporters to match her
donation. Will you consider reaching deep into your pocket to help us
reach our equipment goal of $10,000. You will be our Kitty Clinic Hero!
More really BIG NEWS to share! Two generous supporters have matched the $1,000 donation challenge. Will you be our fourth generous Kitty Clinic Hero and donate $1,000?. That would put us closer to reaching our goal to purchase medical equipment at our new spay-neuter clinic.
