Welcome to CAToberfest 2022!  This is our 15th Annual Feline Festival and Fundraiser.  Whether you are a first-time guest or one of our regular supporters, we are so glad you are here! We are pleased that we can still get together for a good cause!  We hope to see you in person at our live event on October 22.

List of CAToberfest Event Activities:

  • Online Auction and Market Place – Our Online Auction and Market Place open on October 13th at 12:01 a.m and close at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16th. We have many generous donations turned into auction packages that you will LOVE, plus Market Place section of the auction contains great deals on ‘buy it now’ items.  Auction and Market Place winners will receive information after closing Sunday at 9:00 p.m. about picking up their items at our live CAToberfest on Saturday, October 22, 2022, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Renton Technical College.
  • Fund-A-Need – Donate to our spay/neuter/vaccination program.

  • Kids' Activities – A variety of things to do for children of all ages - online and at the live event!
  • EduCATion – Articles and videos to help you with your cat(s) and/or cats in the community - online and at the live event!
  • South County Cats – The link to our general website tells you more about our mission.

CAToberfest began in recognition of National Feral Cat Day, which was celebrated on October 16 and was described simply as ‘a Celebration of Cats’!  While that would still be appropriate, we now describe it as a ‘Feline Festival and Fundraiser’ in recognition of what is now Global Cat Day on October 16. What has not changed is the two-fold goal of the event BOTH to raise funds and to provide community education. You will notice some event features that are not related to fundraising, such as EduCATion, and Kids’ Activities.  These are intended to share information that will become useful to you or to cats in our community. Of course, that includes information about the health and well-being of cats, the importance of spay and neuter, the plight of homeless, community cats and the purpose of TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).

Thank you for being here and please enjoy CAToberfest!
